we are fishlips

Edmonton, since 2024

Fishlips makes melodically loud sounds for people that love music. Formed in 2024, they recorded their first EP, Root Canal, in 2025.

Fishlips resurrects the spirit of 90s sludge punk with their frenetic energy and moody riffs.

Fishlips wants you to dance til you puke and hug everyone you meet (with their consent of course).

Fish don't have lips, but we all have lips.

  • Avrey

    Avrey drums

Avrey is the most important person in the band because she is the happiest person on Earth. She plays the drums like they've been naughty and can scream like a banshee.

  • Ello

    Ello bass

Ello is a person of many talents but chose bass as a way to work out her anger issues towards her losing Boggle streak. Also, she has an unnatural love of ladybugs.

  • Jack

    Jack guitar and vocals

Jack Stevenson (also known as fearoffever) has been playing music, recording, producing and writing since he got his first guitar at eight years old. He wants to experience life through music and definitely isn't scared of spiders, basements or basements with spiders.
